Reiki
What Is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy healing practice. I place my hands lightly on or above the body to support the nervous system's ability to relax and regulate.
It's a similar feeling to a warm hug from someone you love. The nervous system recognizes safety, and the body softens because of it.
Sessions are offered virtual or personal.
When the body shifts out of stress mode and into parasympathetic regulation, it can soften, recalibrate, and begin to process what it has been holding.
My role is not to “fix” you.
My role is to hold steady, regulated space, your body does what it already knows how to do.
What a Session Looks Like
You arrive and we begin with a brief check-in.
You remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on the table.
Sessions are quiet and deeply restorative.
Hands may rest lightly or hover above the body.
There is no pressure to talk.
No pressure to perform.
No pressure to feel anything specific.
At the end, we gently integrate and reflect on anything that surfaced.
Who Reiki Is For?
Anyone. Reiki works with animals too.
Clients often come to this work while navigating chronic stress, emotional transitions, or simply the accumulation of holding everything together.
Why Reiki?
Most people live in a low-grade state of fight-or-flight.
Reiki gives the body a window to shift out of that state and into rest.
Clients often notice slowed breathing, muscle softening, temperature shifts, or a sense of release.
Reiki does not replace medical care. It can complement it.
